Things about your husband
Coming back from the church, we laid our heads together for a short nap as we woke up early this morning. Waking up from nap, the first thing he reaches to is the tv and astro remote. Hold on there! Is that what married is all about? Waking up from the warmth of each other confort to sitting at the couch and watch the national news? Whats wrong the the spark of the relationship that we signed on, on the day of our weddig day? What is getting on my nerve? Is this the Husband Sitcom to the Married life? the remote controlling, beer belly, potato couch man persona that we had to live with the whole time we are married? There are just not confining to the watching tv, but also the late nith news, the night out drink with the guys, and endless late night football game. The wives spend the whole time grumbling but what if that is the case where man do not want us women to share this passion as these made them the MAN? I have confronted my husband to share his passion of football and the sport racing that he loved to watch, and he replied no matter how much he is going to shared it with me, it's not the same as talking to the other guys, just like talking to a baby and it is a lot of work to start the conversation. Therefore, he just give up and opt for not talking about it to me. I had offer to talk and open up to his life passion of football and sport racing, my effort is all in vain. No wonder there is so many divorce coming in and we are all wondering where and what is the problem. I thought watching Sex and the City over and over again will help me to maintain the relationship problem, but i have been thinking, What good is all the advice in the world, and only women like me work things out in the relationship. Thats why the divorce rate is so high because the women are more educated now and the husband are taking that for granted that we women are very independant that we can just hold the marrige life all by our own. Should we just give it up or this is our survival? Has women become the survival kit to marriage?
